During Warsaw Security Forum 2026 and the days surrounding it, Global Protection Group (GPG) provided close protection services under four separate contracts for diplomats, entrepreneurs and representatives of non-governmental organisations from the United Kingdom, the United States and Ukraine. These assignments involved several dozen professionals in total, including close protection officers, drivers, operations coordinators and interpreters.
Warsaw Security Forum took place in Warsaw on 12–13 October 2026. Our work extended beyond the two-day conference, as we provided close protection during other meetings and engagements throughout our clients’ stays in Poland. Our teams also protected individuals attending the 15th Free Russia Forum and the OSCE’s 2026 Warsaw Human Dimension Conference.
We planned each operation separately, tailoring protective arrangements and operational support to the clients’ profiles, assessed threats and planned itineraries. On selected assignments, we worked alongside close protection teams from other countries, agreeing how responsibilities and operational tasks would be divided.
Our advance work covered clients’ accommodation, meeting venues and other locations included in their planned itineraries. It began before their arrival in Poland and continued throughout their stay, with additional locations assessed as schedules changed. The findings informed our protection plans and route planning, both of which were reviewed and updated as operational requirements changed.
We arranged ground transport, selecting vehicles suited to each client’s needs and security requirements. We also assisted with selecting and booking accommodation in hotels and private residences, and provided interpreting support during clients’ stays.
For selected client meetings, we also carried out Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) work to identify potential threats from covert technical surveillance.
Managing four independent operations simultaneously involved coordinating multiple teams, adapting to changes in clients’ schedules and maintaining operational continuity. Discretion and respect for clients’ privacy remained central to every assignment.
We thank our clients for their trust, everyone involved in these operations for their professionalism, and the organisers of Warsaw Security Forum for their cooperation.
We look forward to seeing you at Warsaw Security Forum 2027!
