Specialist Tactical Training
Global Protection Group delivers specialist tactical training for military, law-enforcement and security personnel operating in urban, non-urban and high-risk environments.
Our programmes are intended for armed forces, law-enforcement agencies, government security services, specialist units, public-order units and other organisations requiring advanced tactical preparation.
Within an appropriately defined scope, training may also be delivered to selected international security and protective services companies providing services to government clients, critical infrastructure operators or organisations active in high-risk environments.
Each programme is adapted to the contracting organisation’s objectives, participant experience, operational responsibilities, procedures, weapons and equipment.
Scope of Training
Depending on the training objectives and participant profile, the programme may include:
- Urban Operations and Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT);
- Close Quarters Battle (CQB) and operations in confined spaces;
- tactical operations in forested, mountainous, open and other non-urban environments;
- C-IED awareness, force preparation and measures designed to mitigate IED-related threats;
- protective operations in high-risk environments;
- Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC);
- Crowd and Riot Control (CRC) and public-order operations;
- operational planning, command and control, communication and team coordination.
Training combines theoretical preparation, practical exercises and operational scenarios reflecting participants’ duties.
Training Areas
The programme is adapted to the type of unit or organisation, participant specialisation and the competencies required by the contracting organisation.
Urban Operations, MOUT and CQB
Training may cover team movement, coordination, entry procedures, crossing danger areas, securing buildings and conducting close-range operations in urban and confined environments.
Tactical Operations in Non-Urban Environments
Programmes may include patrol organisation, movement, observation, concealment, use of terrain and response to threats in forested, mountainous, open and other non-urban environments.
C-IED Awareness and Force Protection
Training prepares personnel to recognise threat indicators, reduce operational vulnerability and respond appropriately to IED-related threats in accordance with their assigned roles and procedures.
The programme does not replace specialist EOD or IEDD training.
Protective Operations in High-Risk Environments
Programmes are intended for teams protecting government personnel, official delegations, corporate representatives and other individuals designated by the contracting organisation.
Training may cover operational planning, team organisation, movement procedures, protective transport and response to direct threats.
Crowd and Riot Control
CRC programmes may include public-order formations, coordinated movement, command and control, communication, protective equipment and response to collective disturbances.
Training is conducted in accordance with the applicable legal framework and rules governing the use of force.
Tactical Combat Casualty Care
TCCC programmes cover casualty management in tactical environments, priorities of care and preparation for evacuation.
The scope is adapted to participants’ roles, medical competencies and the contracting organisation’s requirements.
Training Tailored to the Unit or Organisation
The scope, level and methodology are adapted to the mandate of the unit or organisation, participant experience, operational duties, standard operating procedures, weapons, equipment and anticipated deployment environment.
Modules may be delivered as stand-alone courses or combined into an integrated programme covering individual skills, team coordination and scenario-based exercises.
Training requiring specific qualifications, authorisations or access to specialist weapons and equipment is delivered exclusively to appropriately qualified and authorised participants, in accordance with applicable regulations.
