Civil Protection and Crisis Management
The growing scale and complexity of threats – ranging from natural disasters and infrastructure failures to hybrid threats – mean that the capability to protect the population has become a key element of responsible security management.
The Act of 5 December 2024 on Civil Protection and Civil Defence introduced a new national framework for preparing public authorities and institutions to respond effectively to crisis situations. The framework includes, among others, threat analysis, planning of protective measures, public warning and alert systems, evacuation planning, and support for affected populations.
In practice, this means that public institutions and organisations responsible for public services must develop genuine operational readiness, rather than relying solely on formal documentation.
The Civil Protection and Civil Defence (CP/CD) training programme, delivered by Global Protection Group, is conducted in accordance with applicable regulations, in particular the Act on Civil Protection and Civil Defence, and recognised best practices in crisis management. The programme focuses on the practical preparation of organisations for effective response to emergencies and on strengthening their capability to coordinate protective actions.
